Bridging the Healthcare Gap
360 Blue Family Medicine is led by Samantha Blue, DNP, APRN, FNP-BC, who is also an active member of the United States Air Force Reserve. She graduated with Honors from a Doctoral Program at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey accomplishing a Doctor of Nursing Practice Degree and is board certified in Family Practice by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
During her clinical experience in Florida, she has recognized the need to address the following gaps in care:
1. Lack of accessibility to primary and urgent care especially in remote areas of Florida due to the nation's largest projected physician shortage with primary care gaps in 66 of 67 counties.
2. Disparities in rural areas to include the panhandle area where there are fewer than 10 physicians per 10,000 residents.
3. Prolonged wait times for appointments
In the Panama City area, patients have reported it takes months to get a primary care appointment to receive preventative services such as mammograms and annual labs.
Our goal is to provide timely, local solutions, ensuring everyone has access to the care they deserve, right in their community.
